Allergic reaction - but what is my Allergy ???? Swollwn sore eyelids!

Im not on any drugs and dont eat shelfish dont like seafood.However i do have oil of olay not illunimator but night cream i use now and again what in it cases allergy do you know?

I used a garnier anti wrinkle around my eyes supposidly dematology tested ? havnt used it since - im trying to narrow it down

Most cosmetic products could cause allergic reactions in sensitive people.   They are dermatology tested in average population.

According to  Skin Deep,Cosmetic Safety Database, oil of olay night cream is a little less hazardous than garnier anti wrinkle.

Hi,my hub gets these symptoms when he has taken the cheaper paracetamols or now even any paracetamol.So the question that here is that have you taken any in the last 12 hours of the symptoms occuring?if not good luck anyway and hope you find a solution!

Get tested for Quaternium 15 allergy, Formaldehyde releasing agent it's in shampoo, makeup, skin care....  

You are not alone.  I recently had exactly the same reaction.  I narrowed it down to Oil of Olay products, which I had been using for years with no problem.  I am wondering if they changed their formula. 

Ethylene oxide is showing up as an allergan; particularly common as allergies to Latex, and other medical devices (10% of patients undergoing Dialysis are showing IgE antibodies to Ethylene Oxide), and then also from ripe fruit, particularly Bananas and Guavas. Severe continuous contact through surgical tape can cause redness, burning, and blisters.

It is used as a sterilant for medical devices and pharmaceutical grade containers, so I believe that  there may be some left behind for absorption into the pharmaceutical or cosmetic that is subsequently loaded into the container; when this gasses off , it will be reabsorbed into any (water) solution such as tears and is held against the surrounding skin surfaces, and them absorbed with allergic outcome.
