Spring Skin – Part Three

Posted Jan 21 2010 10:07pm

We’ve already talked about the best cleansers and toners to get your skin ready for spring. But what about the next step in the routine?

Serums are incredibly effective due to their potency of active ingredients. Worn under moisturiser, they can brighten, exfoliate or moisturise depending on the ingredients.

They can play a key role in getting skin healthy, radiant and soft. Here are my favourite picks of serum to start using now in order to get glowing skin by spring time.

  • Dr Sebagh Skin Moisturising Revitalizing Serum (aka Serum Repair). This serum is intensively moisturising and boosts collagen levels, leaving skin fresh and plump.
  • Skinceuticals Phloretin CF. Once you’ve tried this serum you’ll never look back. Not only does it protect against premature aging it helps heal age spots and hyperpigmentation as well as evening the skin tone.
  • Dermaquest Advanced B5 serum. This is intensely hydrating, which makes it a perfect winter-time serum. It penetrates deep into the skin before releasing moisture over a period of time so you know that you are protected from the elements all day.
