Spring Pedicure Tips

Posted Apr 08 2010 11:38pm

If you’re anything like me, now that spring is finally here you’ll already be thinking of warm, sunny days and summer holidays. The weather may not be hot enough yet, but I’m already starting to think about getting my beauty routine in check for the new season. As well as regularly exfoliating, tanning and waxing, it’s time to take care of those feet which have been hiding in boots for months. Here’s my tips for getting feet sandal ready.

You’ll need a foot file, a towel, oil, and a bottle of bright nail polish.

Apply the oil all over the feet, from the ankles down. Soak the towel in warm water, wring most of the moisture out, and wrap it round the feet. Relax with the towel on for 15 minutes then unwrap.

Use the foot file, focusing on the outside and bottom of your big toes, the balls of the feet and heels.

Once finished, use the towel to wipe and clean up the feet. Lightly re-apply a small amount of oil to lock moisture in.

Finally apply a bright, cheerful polish.
