If you love hot, long showers and baths then you could actually be drying your skin out by damaging the outer layer of the dermis. Water also wipes away the natural oils in the skin, causing dry, chapped and even scaly skin. Try not to have your showers too hot. If your skin goes red and itchy, you’ve gone too far!
