Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen Review, NOTW #8, and Triple Awards

Last week, I bought one of the Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in black (click here to see my post). I finally had a chance to use it this past weekend. I'm also going to review the product. Product Review: Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen
Where can you purchase this: A lot of places from Walgreens to Target Price: around $7 something (I bought mine during 40% off sale)
The colors available: white, black, light pink, hot pink, blue, red, silver, gold
What it says in the back: Now you can be creative with your nails in seconds! Just press pen point to activate nail color and start designing on your nails! Fine-tip pen makes it easy to control and draw precise lines for a French Manicure. Great for designing pedicures, too! How to use: Do not apply to bare nail. Apply base coat or polish before use. Allow polish to dry completely. Shake well with cap on. Remove cap. Push pen tip on hard surface to dispense color. Apply nail art design to nail. Allow to dry. Recap firmly after use. Seal nail with top coat when your design is complete. Protect work surfae while using this product.
My thoughts: To be honest, I was skeptical in the beginning because its such a simple concept (that's why I only bought one). I thought of these products in the past, but didn't understand why they didn't exist. When Sally Hansen came out with this concept, it made me wonder. After using this, I actually want the rest... hehe~
Pros: * Its fine point making it easy to draw on your nail. * It feels like a pen and with good handmanship its not hard to draw. * Its very convenient. * It comes out nice and dark.
Cons: * "Do not apply to bare nail" or "Protect work surface while using this product" on the direction is kind of creepy. * "MAY ALSO CONTAIN: Aluminum Hydroxide, Hydrated Silica. MAY CONTAIN: Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Red 30, Ferric Ferrocyanide, Black 2." as ingredients sound kind of creepy as well.
Would I buy this again? To be honest, I'm not sure. I'll definitely research the chemicals before I decide. If anyone know of these chemicals, PLEASE tell me! :)
Rating: 4/5 Tobey's Paws
Of course, I have to show my nail of the week (NOTW #8) using this pen... hehe~
What I used: (T-B, L-R: OPI Base Coat, Etude House in PK010, L.A. Colors Art Deco in Intense Pink, Seche Vite Top Coat, and Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Black)
* OPI Base Coat * Etude House in PK010 (Thank you Digitial Angel!) * Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Black * L.A. Colors Art Deco in Intense Pink * Seche Vite Top Coat (Thank you makeup buddy!)
I only did those two fingers from laziness... lol~ I think it came out nice! :) I'm also in love with the Etude House nail polish in PK010. It's such a gorgeous pink color!!!
Thank you Digitial Angel for the Etude polish!!! :)

Wow, it's going to be hard nominating at least 10 blogs since so many of you guys have been nominated *sigh*. If you haven't been nominated, then you got nominated by me. I'm talking to you, you, and you!!! :P
I'm also going to advertise my Poupee Girl... hehe~
If you have Poupee Girl, PLEASE add me. I would add you guys but I'm still struggling how to work this thing... lol~ I don't know how to search for people and worst yet I'm only buying 5-10 ribbon worth of clothes. Just like the economy, my Poupee Girl is living it... lol~ All the good clothes are more than 100 ribbons, and I can't buy them because I'm poor. :X
