Review: Veva Body Cranberry Spice Sugar Scrub and Honey Almond Sweet Feet

Posted Dec 09 2008 9:09pm

I have to tell you, my most favorite thing about writing a beauty blog is when an indie brand approaches me to try out their products.  Without having the bias of knowing what the rest of the beauty addicts out there think, it’s like discovering bath and body products for the first time. So I’ll let you in on a secret… Veva Body’s Cranberry Spice Sugar Scrub and their Honey Almond Sweet Feet are beyond amazing.

Cranberry Spice Sugar Scrub: I have this sitting next to me as I write this review and the scent transcends the packaging. It is very fragrant with a spicy twist on cranberries. It is rich in oils like shea, sweet almond, coconut oil and butters like olive and apricot. It makes exfoliating your dry patchy skin a complete joy as the tart yet sweet scent of the cranberries makes you drift off into a Holiday-inspired daydream. After using this product, my skin was so incredibly soft that I didn’t even need to use moisturizer.

Honey Almond Sweet Feet: The first words out of my mouth when I opened the Sweet Feet jar was– oh.my.God. This scent is an absolute must have for any bath and body lover. The lotion is thick and creamy and deeply hydrates the driest areas of your feet. But guess what? I couldn’t help myself with the scent, so I used Sweet Feet on my elbows and legs and arms. Winters here in the mountains are so dry (my static-infused hair is proof) that emollinet-rich moisturizers are necessary early on.

Rave rave reviews on these products! You honestly have to try them for yourself! www.vevabody.com
