Review: Travertine Spa Botanical Body Wash

Posted Dec 01 2009 10:00pm

travertine-spa-tuberose-body-wash The holiday shopping is now in full gear and oftentimes we find ourselves stressing out over which gift is perfect for the loved ones in our lives and where we can find the best deals as we move from store to store for our quest. So here’s a novel idea: take a moment for yourself and relax. It doesn’t have to be anything long and drawn out or even an appointment at the spa (although I could definitely go for that right about now!) but it can simply done right in your own shower.

Travertine Spa’s Botanical Body Wash in Tuberose is one such treat that, although just a simple shower gel, it’s skin softening properties and intoxicating floral scent will have you feeling like you just incorporated a little luxury in your life.

The Botanical Body Wash that I received as a sample was in Tuberose. I have to say that I honestly am not a big fan of rose fragrances (although I do like Berwick Beauty ’s Damask Rose facial moisturizers) yet Tuberose is quite different. It is very sweet and exotic, but not too “perfume heavy” in fragrance.

On a sidenote, my youngest son Brody, who is 2, liked this body wash so much that he also decided to pour a large amount into his hair as shampoo. How could I be mad when I get to snuggle up next to my littlest boy and smell this fragrance in his hair?

Travertine Spa’s Tuberose Body Wash is $35 for 8oz and can be found online at www.TravertineSpa.com, at Canyon Ranch Spa’s and other select spas. They are also having a 48 hour sale (ends December 2nd): buy any 2 items and receive a free linen spray ($14 value); save 30% off their Shea Hand and Nail Cream; get free domestic shipping on orders over $75. Just use the code cybermonday.
