To be honest, the RMK Spring Translucence did not capture my fancy with their sheer colors laced with pinks. That was until I learned from Fuz that the Translucent Cheeks and Eyes palette is a great blush for Spring and how right she was! Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. Before liking this palette, I never even noticed how pretty it looked with its sleek chrome casing and cute motif.

"This 09SS limited edition multi-colour palette consists of 4 cheek colours and 2 eye coloours pressed into and Anemone motif. Its rich blend of polarized pearls captures the very essence of the 2009S/S collection: The translucent floral shades. Play and combine the colours, creating different fresh spring hues on application."
The one that I have is in shade 02 Translucent Coral Gold. The cheek colors comprise of a warm bronze, orange and pink as well as a beige highlight shade. For the eyes is a sparkly gold and bronze. There's not a lot of product though. This one isn't like those palettes with motives that disappear after one or two swipes of the brush. The colors seem to be pan deep but the RMK word does swipe away.
The colors suit my skin tone and I love them all. No exceptions! I would usually mix the orange and bronze for my cheeks, then add pink onto my apples and beige as my highlight. The cheek colors have buildable hues that allow the intensity to be adjusted so that you can go from translucent to opaque. As for the eye colors, they're gorgeous as well and quite versatile.
Despite being "translucent" the cheek colors are amazingly long lasting on the cheeks. It wasn't until 6 hours later that I needed a touch up. That's definitely a winning feature for a powder blush! Even the highlight didn't seem to fade much, making my my cheeks look glowy all day long.
This handy compact goes for RM195 at RMK counters. It's also available in 01 Translucent Coral Pink with cool-toned colors.
