Review: Olivina Honeysuckle Rose Olive Bath Soap and Hand Creme

Posted Mar 08 2011 9:30am

If you live in any part of the country buried in snow such as I am, I’m pretty sure you are yearning for Spring. A stroll through the Viewmont Mall and The Limited, JCPenney and Macy’s are basically telling me Spring is right around the corner. So this is about the time of year I start using products that scream “It’s Spring! It’s Spring!” (said in my best Tattoo voice impression.) Olivina’s Honeysuckle Rose scented Olive Bath Soap and Olive Hand Creme definitely do that.

I have to say, the Olive Bath Soap is the biggest bar of soap that has ever come across my desk…and I’ve reviewed A LOT of soaps. Kind of awkward in your hand due to its size; I honestly want to say it is about 3-4 inches length and width-wise and about 2 inches thick…which is the reason it’s $18, but this soap lasted me for 3 months and felt great on my skin! Can you say that about the soap sitting in your shower right now? Not to mention that it is so fragrant that my bathroom simply smelled wonderful every single day.

Admission time: have you ever loved a hand cream so much that you also used it as your body lotion? No? Hmm, I guess I am alone with this one. Olivina’s Olive Hand Creme is so rich and at the time I started using it, my skin was beginning to dry out from the weather here in the Pocono Mountains. So in addition to my hands, I started applying it to my legs and arms, especially my elbows and knees, which as a result felt like silk. And due to how fragrant it is, I also didn’t have to use perfume. It is the kind of fragrance that whenever I saw my boyfriend the first words out of his mouth were, “Wow, you smell good.” Oh yes I do.

Olivina bath and body products are made right in Napa Valley, California and are earth friendly. Have you used them? www.OlivinaNapaValley.com .
