Katy Perry is well known for its eccentricity both in make-up and nail art. It seems that her crazy manicure brought her a contract with OPI, one of the best nail polish brands in the world. During this collaboration, Katy Perry will promote five different nail polish colors, inspired from her songs.
The five shades of nail polish will have the following names: “Teenage dream”, “Not like the movies” – which is a blue shade with opalescent particles, “Last Friday night”, “Black shatter” and “The one that got away”. These could be worn on the entire nail or could be used for creating certain models.
This funky collection of nail polishes will be available starting with January 2011, and the selling price: 9$ each.
OPI designed a special collection for winter 2010, called “Burlesque”, promoting strong colors with loads of glitter. The name for this collection was inspired from the movie with the same name, in which you get to see Christina Aguilera and Cher acting together.
Another well known collaboration of OPI was the one with Justin Bieber for naming certain shades of nail polish.
