Olivia Inge from LFW on Twenty8Twelve’s “Jericho” collection

The first outfit in the line up was an adorable little denim dress with a fabulous white petticoat-come-tutu, that bounced its way down the catwalk. I was looking forward to seeing something fun to help ease my tired state. I was in good company as the beautiful model/actress Poppy Delevigne (she used to be Sienna Miller’s roomie in NYC) was sat next to me, she too had hit the hay around the same perky time. Pixie Geldoff, who was celebrating her birthday, was on the other, her hair looked very of the moment in its unwashed grunge state.
The sisters’ collection was “all about a girl on her travels and the things she finds”. I could sense a Mexican, Virginian and Texan theme, but I think the rest of the collection was lost on me. The clothes were pretty but they looked a bit like the kind you find in the basement in Topshop’s flagship store. There were individual pieces I thought were cute and very wearable, for example the Red-indian cartoon print dress and the grey striped shirt/dress. The final outfit was a sexy leopard print stretch dress with a sweet-heart neck-line, flirtatious but nothing new.
Pat McGrath, using Max Factor, gave the girls an orangey/red lip and bare eyes. No mascara (TREND ALERT). The skin was clean and fresh with a subtle glow. The hair, by Sam McKnight, was just like the sisters – healthy, springy and with a little brushed out tonging to give it that ’slept on a plane’ look. Again, a look one can emulate easily at home. olivia inge
