Me Gloss: Prescriptives Custom Blend Lipgloss

Posted Jun 13 2009 12:05am

It's probably one of the most exciting beauty things I've ever done; getting my own lipgloss made up at a Prescriptives counter. I'm obsessed with the crop of coral based OPI nail polishes so I took my two favourites to the Selfridges Prescriptives counter to see if we could come up with a shade that would complement them. I took Party In My Cabana and Paint My Moji-toes. Expert blender, Emer, mixed, added, stirred, shook and added a bit more to come up with the most beautiful, sheer shade of pink/coral that I can't stop applying! Together we made a colour that will suit anyone, regardless of skin tone; it's a perfect complimentary shade for all the gorgeous pinks and oranges around at the moment. And, the recipe is filed (from Monday) so if anyone wants to get their hands on my colour, just ask for the JANE recipe (I thought Britishbeautyblogger is a bit of a mouthful!) at participating Prescriptives counters at Selfridges or House of Fraser stores. It costs £19.57 (to find out if your HoF does the custom blend glosses, call 0870 034 2566). Naturally, I can't recommend it highly enough!!
