M.A.C. Look: Not Quite Done With Summer

Posted Sep 04 2008 12:00am
Ushar was pretty intrigued with MAC's Electric Eel eyeshadow swatch (click for more swatches) so I thought I'd give it a go and boy, I fell head over heels. The color was amazingly beautiful especially when layered over MAC's Rollickin' Paint Pot (I like this more than Perky). For this very simple summery look -- I know it's all about Fall now but hey, it's always summer in Malaysia -- I paired Electric Eel with MAC Pigments in Off The Radar (another gorgeous color) and added more depth with Rare Specimen eyeshadow. I've also found a way to reuse one of my bronze eyeshadows from Giorgio Armani as a cheek highlight and the effect was very warm and glowy cheeks.
There's a new reason as to why I love my Pink Kabuki Brush so much that I'm now using it every time I put makeup on. My mineral foundations have not been in use and this adorable kabuki gave it a 3rd chance. With this brush, I would not mind using mineral foundation when I only need a light-weight coverage without the cake.

If you request for this tutorial, I'll definitely do it since this look is so quick and easy. Not so soon though. The updates will be infrequent from now until September 20th because I'm having my finals -- so, help me God -- and I'm refraining from blogging so much. I have so much more to update but I'll have to put all of that on hold. For those who have requested for reviews on the L'Oreal De-Crease eyeshadow base and Chian Li, I owe you a tutorial, please bear with me.

And... Yay! I'm officially 21! I wonder what kind of super adult powers have I obtained... The ability to be naggy and long-winding?

Read on for description of items used and close-up pictures.
