Sports and yoga clothing brand Lululemon announced last week that their CEO, Christine Day, is stepping down. Christine was with the company for over five years.
The announcement comes just three months after the company had to recall it’s yoga pants due to an ‘unacceptable level of sheerness’. However, Christine Day insists that the decision to leave Lululemon is her own. Speaking on a conference call to analysts, she said “This was a personal decision of mine,” Day said on the call. “Look, there’s never a perfect time to leave a company that you love. … As the company embarks on that next 10-year vision, the timing’s right to bring in the next person to lead.”
