Dame Westwood is like fashion royalty, there’s hardly a fashionable soul alive who doesn’t love her unique yet wearable creations and her designs manage to infuse a queen mum traditionalist with edgy 80s punk rocker. Her Spring 2010 Red collection was no exception to the rule, with garden party dresses, polka dots and tulle mixing with daringly short hemlines and tiny shorts and her signature draping and pleats.
But what about the hair and makeup? All focus was on the eyes with a heavy, dark and strong smoky eye which had an almost graphic feel – perfectly contrasting the pastel pinks of the collection to dramatic effect. The skin was milky white with hardly a hint of cheek colour, creating the perfect canvas for the strong eye makeup.
Hair was a little unruly in long, tousled, brushed out waves, slightly pinned away from the face but falling loosely out.
