Listen up mamas - I've got the skinny on an A+ brand that is debuting TODAY and I want you to be first on the scene with me! Zoe Organics is a fresh-to-the-market company that has just released a new product line of bath & body products for babies and mamas-to-be that are nothing short of brilliant. Today, the official website will open up and the public will be able to buy these products for the first time!
The creator of the products and founder of this company, Heather, is a mom of two boys with a passion for fresh, pure and effective body products. Plain and simple - she saw a need and went after it. Now, that's our kind of woman! I have had the privilege of trying all of the baby products she has created and here's what I think The Review
Gentle Hair & Body Wash ($12): This silky foaming wash is so sweet smelling, so gentle and so easy to use that it has trumped many other organic baby products in my bathtub. The lavender and mandarin combination is not too much, not too little...but just right.
Diaper Balm ($14): There comes a time when every baby needs a diaper balm. Let me tell you, we have tried and tested out many a balm in this family, so we are basically pros at this point. I love the moisturizing and healing qualities of this balm. Diaper rash is pretty much a thing of the past around here, but once in a while it rears it's ugly head and we have to take action. Luckily, when my little lady got a few spots on her tush after staying too long in a soggy cloth diaper a couple weeks ago, we had just received a package from Zoe Organics. Those spots were gone in a flash and we were back to normal programming. All while avoiding toxins in such a sensitive area. Awesome. This balm is very smooth (not grainy) and designed for protection as well as restoration. This one is definitely staying near the diaper station. Ingredients: Prunus dulcis (sweet almond) oil* [infused with lavendula angustifolia (lavender) flowers*, anthemis nobilis (chamomile) flowers* and calendula officinalis (calendula) flowers*], butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter*, beeswax*, lavendula angustifolia (lavender) essential oil*, anthemis nobilis (chamomile) essential oil*, melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) essential oil*. *certified organic ingredient Baby Bath Tea ($20): Now this is something you don't see every day. It is one of Zoe Organics best-loved products among it's testers and one that I have also fallen in love with. It is ultra-gentle, ultra-moisturizing and ultra-soothing so it's the perfect concoction for little ones just getting used to the world. You just drop one of these muslin bags filled with calming herbs and oatmeal into the bath and "steep" in the bath water. Use it like a wash cloth to wash your baby's body and hair too. Like I said, brilliant!
*certified organic ingredient Baby Balm ($10): "For just about anything"....and they're right. I have used it on my perpetually cracked nose skin, some knee scrapes on my son, and just for fun on my sweet daughter's skin. Has a wonderful consistency and sweet smell. You don't have to get your fingers involved in applying this one either, it is packaged like a lip balm so all you have to do it twist and smear. It's the perfect size to carry around in the diaper bag too!
Baby Massage Oil ($14): Every night before our first-born was put to bed, he would be properly bathed and massaged as part of his bedtime routine. Our second-born is lucky to be bathed once a week, and her pre-bedtime routine consists of us saying "Goodnight!" Since receiving this massage oil, I have given my daughter more luxury spa treatments than she's had in her lifetime. I absolutely adore the consistency and aroma of this oil. It is the perfect way to help a little one enter dreamland, with scents of lavender and chamomile in an easily absorbed oil. It's perfection!
This is the kind of brand I feel connected to, both in the spirit behind it and the stringent standards applied to the ingredient list. I love the modern look of the packaging and combination of scents that are just right. The ingredients are sourced responsibly and handcrafted while maintaining their effectiveness. I cannot wait to see where Zoe Organics is going to go from here. They have definitely started with a bang and get two thumbs up in my book!
