cells. I can always tell when I’m dehydrated. Not only do I feel crappy, but my skin looks rough and dull. Wouldn’t it be incredible if someone somewhere out there tapped into the power of water to make our skin more youthful looking? Well they did and I had the pleasure of trying it out. Of what do I speak? It’s the I nfotone Face Mist .
When I was a teen, I got into the craze of “facial misting.” I used to carry a mini-bottle of Evian in my purse. Whenever I felt like I needed a lift, I would mist my face. It surely did wake me up sometimes, but I wonder if it really helped my skin? Evian is pure mineral water and I know that’s great for the skin but I never really knew if it did any good. It was one of those things that just felt good to do. Fast forward to today: the company AquaLiv has created this incredible face mist which contains one major ingredient: H2O. What makes it unique is that it has a 100% natural mineral clay ball inside it. What does the clay ball do? There’s a bunch of scientific stuff behind it which is a bit complex (it’s officially called Aqualiv’s BioT Bioinformation Technology), but in a nutshell here’s what it does: it enhances the water with the qualities of several skin activating compounds. It encourages hydration and promotes clear, youthful, glowing skin. Simply by tapping into the power of water (it uses spring water, to be exact), AquaLiv has created a miraculous product. Can you believe they worked for over 10 years to develop the face mister? They definitely put some serious effort and work into it….and I also like the fact that it hydrates the skin without using any chemicals at all. Here are some of the many benefits of the Infotone Face Mist:
Win a Face Mist of your very own! See below for details.
So after I used the face mist, did I reap any of the benefits? I certainly did! After I washed my face (which I do two times a day) I sprayed (liberally) with the face mist until droplets were running. I let it “sink in” a bit than gently patted dry. Then I applied my moisturizer. If you use the mister, be sure to still use your moisturizer. The mister shouldn’t replace your normal moisturizer, but it really does compliment it. I felt my face was even more hydrated than by using moisturizer alone. Another great use of the face mist is to carry it in your purse for those fresh ups you need throughout the day. It can be used right over makeup with no fear!According to the website, one bottle will last you a year! How can one little bottle last you that long? Because the secret of the mist isn’t really the water, it’s the technology in the clay ball. When the water is used up in the bottle, all you need to do is refill it using purified tap water or bottled spring water, such as Fiji (my favorite!) On their website they have a complete list of approved and not approved water which can be used for refill. When you refill, be sure to wait 20 minutes, then mist away with all of the benefits! That fact that the bottle is refillable makes this product incredibly green and it comes in a glass bottle, making it even more eco-friendly (I prefer glass when I have the choice as opposed to plastic which can leach icky chemicals into your products and your skin.) After using the face mist for over a month, I am very satisfied with it’s performance and hope you will be too! How will I get to try the face mist, you ask? Well it’s giveaway time, honey! The lovely people at AquaLiv has graciously offered to give away 5 (yes, 5!) of their technologically advanced Face Mists. I am so excited for my readers to be able to try them out and see the results for themselves. Each mist has a retail value of $34.97 but is really worth so much more considering it’s refillable! I’m going to make this giveaway easy to enter, because I know we all have so many things to think about.
