Gwen Stefani says keeping fit is “a daily struggle”

It’s refreshing to hear a celebrity like Gwen Stefani admit that she needs to work to keep her insane body. (You know, as opposed to the old, “I just have good genes and a fast metabolism!” nonsense. It’s simply amazing where good genes and a fast metabolism will take you when you’re eating 1000 calories a day and working out 10 hours a week with a trainer.)
In the new issue of Elle UK , Gwen says: “I work out 5 days a week. I can’t imagine not doing it…I’d like to have no rules and eat what I want, but I’ve learned over the years that I’m so disappointed when I can’t wear the clothes I want to wear. And if I let myself down, appear on stage when I’m not looking my best, it’s not fun for me. I just beat myself up about it.”
Well, Gwen, whatever you’re doing is working just fine! She looks fantastic, no?
