I did a pre-order of e.l.f.'s products from www.eyeslipsface.com via sgdrugstore on lowyat.net I think.. a month ago? Well, it took impeccably long to arrive to Malaysia going through 4 addresses or so. Finally, I got them and well, both my eyeshadow were shattered. Not completely shattered but bad enough for me to get a refund. Here's what I got
- Mineral Concealer in Light: 5USD - Tone Correcting Concealer in Fair: 1USD - Duo Cream Eyeshadow in Black Licorice: 1USD - Brightening Eye Color in Ivy: 1USD - Brightening Eye Color in Luxe: 1USD - Regular and Waterproof Mascara Duo: 1USD
Reviews! I know you love them.
Brightening Eye Color
So, this was how my eyeshadows looked like when i got them
Anyway, they're kinda "cheap" looking but I'm quite impressed that there's a tiny mirror at where the sponge applicator is so that's very convenient. The eyeshadow itself... it has proven that it's very fragile seeing how it could have cracked so badly during postage. The texture is rather powdery but it is quite smooth. However, the colors are not highly pigmented. They're just very average and has practically no lasting power. It definitely was not worth my money and the wait but yet again, buying cosmetics online, it's a trial and error that you have to accept.

Regular and Waterproof Mascara Duo
Just a typical mascara with a regular formula at one end and a waterproof formula on the other end. It doesn't volumize or lengthen but it makes lashes somewhat visible at least so it does give a very natural look. The formula take awhile to dry though so you may find your top and bottom lashes sticking together if you blink before the mascara dries. I like the waterproof end as it is truly waterproof! Well, at least it's smudge-proof. I know this for sure because I had it on for 19 hours. Yes, I slept with my make-up on. Sue me. The brush is really small too so it's easy to use. I won't re-purchase though since it's not what I'm looking for in a mascara but it's not too bad if you just want something that looks natural.

I actually wanted a mineral foundation with a fuller coverage which was why I got the concealer as opposed to the foundation. The sifter jar is nice but kinda small and at least it doesn't look cheap. The concealer itself is rather blah. It didn't give much coverage at all even though it's called a concealer. The texture is smooth and blendable though but just doesn't have a good color build-up so it definitely won't serve as a full coverage foundation but it can work just to even out the skin tone. The staying power is just alright. Better than Sweetscents at least. I'm still looking for the right mineral foundation.

Tone Correcting Concealer
This would have to be my favorite product out of the lot. I was really surprised by it, I must honestly say. The texture of this concealer is really smooth, hydrating and also easy to blend. It doesn't even cake up under my eyes and must be one of the better concealers that I've ever tried. It give more of a moderate coverage so it's good enough to just even out the skin tone and it lasts for reasonable hours -- about 4 to 5 hours. The packaging is quite typical with a sponge tip applicator which is quite good so that you can apply the concealer without having to use a brush. The lid actually came off when I first attempted to open it though and i find that the fragrance of this product is rather strong although pleasant if you don't have a problem with fragrances.

Duo Cream Eyeshadow
I haven't personally tried this yet so I can't give it a fair review at the moment. It does look promising because the color is very pigmented and the texture is really smooth. I also like how it gives a metallic finish. I'll update this review when I've officially tried the cream shadow. Please refer to the swatch in the picture above.
