Cleanser Review: Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

When it comes to makeup, I’m super adventurous.  I have no problems trying out new mascaras or new eye shadows since I can always remove it if it doesn’t work out.  But I’m a bit more apprehensive when it comes to skincare.  After all, a pimple can’t simply be wiped off!

That’s why it’s taken me so long to finally try the super popular and highly rated Fresh Soy Face Cleanser .  Boy, were all the reviews spot on!  This cleanser is a keeper!

Soy Face Cleanser is super gentle and smooth.  It removes most of my makeup, save for waterproof mascara and eyeliner, and it doesn’t sting when I get it into my eye (by accident of course).  It foams just a little bit, and oh, the way it rinses off!  Some cleansers tend to make my face feel so dry, while other cleansers simply seem to leave my face feeling grimy.  But this felt perfect – neither too dry nor too oily – like Goldilocks finding the right porridge.

It’s a tad pricey at $15 for a 1.7 oz tube, and $38 for a 5.1 oz tube, but having a clear and balanced skin is so worth the money.  Available at Fresh stores and Sephora .
