If you haven't read my previous posts about my chemical peel, please go back and read them. I was not planning on posting again today, but so much has happened to my skin that I felt it was worthwhile.
For those of you who read my morning post, I talked about how I was peeling around the mouth. Well, I now have one major strip of dead skin around my mouth that is starting to fall off. It is literally a whole sheet of skin just hanging off my face. I did apply the best moisturizer I could find around the house, as I was directed to do. However, I am directed not to apply any other skin care creams until the regimen has ran it's course, which is said to be day six.
For anyone who doesn't follow my regular posting, that means the following:
*No using anti-aging eye creams.
*No using wrinkle creams. Not even the best wrinkle cream is acceptable in this situation, as nothing is supposed to interfere with the skin's healing process.
While the peeling is sort of gross, I am looking forward to seeing what tonight brings. Of course, there will no longer be the need to apply the medicated pads to my face before bed tonight, but I am supposed to cleanse the face without scrubbing too hard as part of the post-chemical peel process.
I have to say this has been a bizarre, yet enlightening process. I will for certain be back to report more about this process tomorrow, if not sooner. :)
Thanks for following my wellsphere blog and bearing with me as I go through the chemical peel process.
