I really wish I would have taken pictures to document this entire process. I am kicking myself right now as this is a procedure that has definately changed the way I look at skin care, and it's really elevated my skin care regimen to an entirely new level.
I believe people should take part in a chemical peel at one point in their lives. If nothing else, it's a formidable option that removes dead skin cells from the face and leaves the skin silky smooth. Here is my report for day three of my chemical peel.
Despite having some serious skin peeling, which has now run above the nose and into my forehead, I went out for a few drinks with some friends last night. Nobody mentioned anything, but I could tell I got a few odd looks from people as I had some sheets of skin falling from my face throughout points in the evening. I did not mind that I had skin falling off my face, but after the fact I thought it may not be the type of thing you want to really exhibit in public at a place where dining is abundant.
Sometimes my skin felt tight, and I could literally feel the next place my skin would start to peel, or "crack" as the esthetician put it. I did not mind this feeling, but I did find myself using an exhorbitant amount of daily moisturizer. In fact, I used almost an entire 2 oz. bottle.
Anyways, here I am, Saturday morning, in a full peel on my face, and looking forward to being done with this process of dead skin falling off of my face. I think it's a pretty solid process, and I can see the skin underneath my face looks fantastic.
I am flaking off skin as I make this post. Who knows how many dead skin cells have fallen from my face to the floor in the last several days? Probably well into the tens of millions.
I'm definately looking forward to getting back to my normal skin care routine, and using my favorite eye cream, Elite Serum, as well as my anti-aging wrinkle cream.
But for now, it's just a heavy doseof my Oro Gold Cosmetics daily moisturizer, which is my favorite line of skin care products.
