Thanks for following my blog posts as I analyze my chemical peel procedure I did last Tuesday. It's still too early to call it a success, as skin is still flaking off of my face, but it is safe to assume that it worked. My skin has achieved a nice little glow, and although I do miss my daily skin care products, I can start to use them very soon.
I will go on record stating that this procedure was a little more than annoying yesterday. I had some gigantic sheets of dead skin flake off my face. A few times it fell into my meal, and it was annoying in that respect. However, I think the end result is worth the annoying situation, and I can also go on record stating that this chemical peel procedure was painless overall.
I did use quite a bit of moisturizer. I used the Oro Gold Cosmetics daily moisturizer when I was done with the sample I obtained from Dr. Kalil. It worked quite well, and I use many of their products. Here is a short video that you may enjoy that highlights their tremendous line of anti aging skin care products.

The company does not make a wrinkle cream, but rumor has it one is around the corner. I do use their eye lifting gel, and certainly look forward to using that product again.
According to my count, I can get back to using my skin care products tomorrow and not have to worry about "not using" them on a daily basis as it could interfere with the chemical peel procedure. Most of the time I don't really think about it, but I do know that my under-eye bags need their daily treatment!
My skin is almost done peeling. I have a tiny bit of skin that is flaking off of my eye-area, but it's almost done. I think when that is done, I should be about set to re-start my normal skin care routine. I definately look forward to seeing how my "new look" will react to my wrinkle cream, eye serum, and lifting gel.
When the skin is all flaked off, I will sit back and relax, and take a look at my before and after photos. This certainly was a tough procedure that I will not forget. I'm not a fan of having skin flake off of me at every corner, but if my skin looks younger when this is all said and done, I'll be happy with the results.
