I'm really having fun with my BundleMonster plates, now that I've found some good polishes to use for stamping! I still have a list of Konad plates that I want to get (hellooo fishnet nails!) in the near future, but the plates I have now give me plenty of options.
I started off the weekend with these nails, using American Apparel Esprit as the base, and American Apparel Hassid for the stamp. I used the stars and arrows image from the BM20 plate. It was ok, but I wanted something more interesting, so I came up with my current NOTW...
American Apparel Esprit and Essie Mint Candy Apple stripes for the base
circles from BM19 stamped with American Apparel Hassid topped with Seche Vite
I unconsciously chose a top that matched my nails on Monday - oddly enough, I only wear that particular top 1 or 2 times in the summer!
Over the weekend, I was going through containers and drawers in the bathroom of random beauty products, and aside from finding several pairs of old prescription contacts (from at least 5 years ago, haha) I found a bag of old nail polishes! A lot of them were shimmery mauves and taupes, but there were a few bright shades, like the bottle of Hard Candy Man Libido (dark shimmery teal with silver), and some bottles that I "borrowed" from my mom.
Lancome Bareness - THE perfect glossy nude shade... it's a shame they don't make this one anymore
another Limited Edition (?) polish... Chanel Metal Roux | 93 gorgeous warm bronze...I might need to add a little thinner to this since the formula has become kind of thick, but there's no way I'm tossing this out just yet!
I was very domestic on Sunday and did some baking - this is another fruit crumble, made with cherries, peaches, raspberries, and blackberries. MG and I had this for dessert with some vanilla gelato - it was a great way to end the weekend!
