Braun Satin Hair 7 Brush

Posted Jun 19 2011 10:43am
It's taken me ages and ages to post about this brush which I was given when I visited Geneva a few months ago. Designed to reduce static, fight frizz and add shine, it completely lives up to the brief. There is no doubt whatsoever that this brush gives hair amazing shine. It's all thanks to ionic technology - on the back of the brush (which is battery operated) is a little ion jet that shoots out ions while you brush. I accidentally put my finger on the jet and got a sharp little shock feeling, so I know it is doing something and this isn't just a case of wanting it to do something. As the ions are released they reduce static and any friction and totally restore the gloss. The bristles on the brush are designed not to pull and tug on the hair and cause damage.

The bad news is that it isn't on sale in the UK - only Europe. And personally, I'd really have preferred to see this as a rechargeable product; the days of heavy duty battery use are over.

That said, it truly, truly works, so if you're on holiday in Europe over the summer see if you can snap one up. They should equate in price to about £20.
