Boy Stuff: Refinery Men's Range Reviewed

Posted Sep 16 2009 11:12pm

Chris was sent away with the task of reviewing The Refinery Face Mask and Refinery Eye Gel; quite a tall order for a blokey-bloke because these two products stray into girl fuss terratory in a major way. Most men can just about get their heads around a moisturiser, but a face mask? Here's his review:

'These two products have turned out to be the ultimate hang over cover up! If you need to look like you didn't touch a drop the night before, here's the answer. Next time you wake up with the dreaded morning after the night before feeling, and your face is puffier than a pit-bull's, these products really do the trick and in double quick time. Apply the Refinery Face Mask while you make your obligatory fry-up hangover breakfast. I found that I could really feel the peppermint tingling on my skin and it gave a warming effect. When I washed it off five minutes later, I felt the detoxifying effect of black pepper, ginger and mint wakening and freshening the skin. My face looked glowing (in a good way) and healthy with no puffiness in sight. The Eye Gel worked a treat, too. It magically reduces any under eye swelling with Aloe Vera and rosehip seed oil - it's the perfect combination if you have something to hide, and nobody will ever know you downed 15 Mojitos!'

'PS: Don't put the eye gel actually IN your eye, as I did by mistake! Around the eye area is fine!'
