If you like to get Botox you could actually be causing your muscles to sag, according to research. It’s long been known the Botox causes muscle wasting due to muscle inactivity in the places you get injected but new research has found muscle wastage isn’t confined to the injection site.
The neurotoxin spreads easily throughout muscles, that’s what makes it so effective, meaning that it doesn’t just stay put in one part of the body. However, it is as of yet unknown how much muscle wasting occurs on humans as the experiment in question was conducted on rabbits. That said, it’s still not great use.
