Way too many times, I've heard and read girls ranting that they can't afford to buy cosmetics. A handful of times, I have people judging me for buying loads of makeup, including high end ones, like it's a crime.
Here's what you need to know: I am a full time college student who works part time to fully support her non-schooling expenses which includes cosmetic addiction. If you think that I have well-off parents and boyfriend to buy me whatever I want, you couldn't be more wrong!
In order to fulfill my need for makeup, I practice many budgeting methods that make this hobby a lot more meaningful and not whine and moan about not being able to afford anything.
For this new series, every now and then, I'll be talking about a particular method that I use to reduce my cosmetic expenses. Whether you're a student or already working, I hope you'll find my Beauty Budgeting Tips useful to help you get the product you want without overspending. Many times it's not that we can't afford it, rather we are not willing to afford it. It's all about maximizing your OWN consumer surplus.
