You know how crazy I am for Bare Escentuals: they’re hands-down my favorite makeup brand, and have been for the better part of a decade. (See here , here and here for various testimonials on how much I love their foundation, lip gloss and radiance powder. I’m also in love with their Buxom Insider Eyeliner and Prime Time Primer Shadow , both of which I use daily.)

The only part of the line I don’t like are the loose mineral eye shadows: the pigments and colors are amazing, but they’re just SO messy that it’s unworkable. Believe me, I’ve tried over and over…but all I get when I apply the loose shadows are raccoon eyes and a mess all over my cheeks.

But now…Bare Escentuals is coming out with pressed powder eye shadows. Aaaaahhh!!

Okay. Deep breath. Must calm self.

Introducing Bare Minerals Ready.

Bare Minerals Ready will launch on September 29th on QVC, then rolls out to Sephora and department stores on October 11th. Ready is available in 15 duos and 4 quads: 46 shades in all. The duos are $20 each and the quads are $30 each.

All Ready eyeshadows feature SeaNutritive Mineral Complex, a nutrient-rich algae and seaweed complex. According to press materials, Ready “looks like a powder but feels like a cream,” and boasts no parabens, no binders, no fillers, and no synthetic chemicals.

Are you as excited as I am? I think this will be a huge hit for Bare Escentuals. I have a sample on the way, so as soon as I try it, I’ll let you know!
