Okay, you know you all remember. Back in the 80's, roller rinks were all the rage. There was a disco ball and inevitably, Madonna was playing. They served chocolate icees with wooden spoons and there were some kids who could skate backwards - not me.
Well, if you are looking for something wild and crazy to do with your friends that involves fitness, why don't you get retro and host a roller skating party? If you live in or near any large city, you should be able to find a place to accomodate you. LA has a super fun location.
I found out about a rink near me when I was a teenager, and visited often for a while. That was at the height of my rollerblading days-although people were using classic roller skates as well-and with the mix of popular music they played each weekend, it was one of my favorite outings with friends.
