A new week means a fresh start in eating right and exercising for me. I had planned to go running but instead I decided to go rollerblading. The last time I went rollerblading was probably in the summer for only a few minutes. So today Glen and I went rollerblading around the park. We rollerbladed around the park for about half an hour, and I definitely could feel the burn in my legs. I was curious and I looked up online to see how many calories you could burn rollerblading and it’s between 600-800 an hour, but since we only went for half an hour, we probably burned 300-400 calories.

I really like working out outdoors rather than the gym, so I’m considering getting rid of the membership and just work out in the neighborhood gym, as well as outside and home. It’s one expense that I don’t have to worry about. You can still be fit without the gym, so I’m definitely going to find different ways to exercise. :)

Rollerblading is definitely a great workout. You definitely feel it afterwards.

I've found it to be easier for my body to handle than running, because of a back injury.

And it's great to know how many calories you can burn in just thirty minutes. Thank you so much for that info!
