 sore tongue

Hi. About five months ago I had an unexpected sex intercourse, two or three hours after which I felt a little pain and numb on the tip of my tongue. I found there was a little patch of white coat on the tip. My sex partner had had that before and the pain and numb were still there. So obviously I was infected. Days later, I felt the pain and numb on both edges of the tongue, too. I went to hospital a few times. There was no good treatment. About two or three months later, I had an HIV test and it was negative. The doctor said it was not HIV, it might becandidiasis, and suggested that I used hydrogencarbonate for mouth washing. But now the pain is still there, especially on both sides of the tongue. On one side of the tongue, a red blister (with a little purple color, obviously with blood inside) broke. It looks like an ulcer, where the pain is more severe.Please tell me what this infected disease is and what I should do about it. Thank you.
