This is an odd one.  I was diagnosed a while back with Chlamydia after a routine pap smear, but I'd not had sex since the previous STD test. I thought it might have been that one of the tests was a false positive.

Until recently I had two cockatiels, but they died a couple of weeks ago very suddenly. The vet sent some samples off for testing and he says that they died of Chlamydia psittaci.

They were very affectionate and tame, and used to try to take food out of my mouth when I was eating, or try to "kiss" me.  Could I have caught my chlamydia off my birds?!
