I recall when people were surprised I took 400 mgs of Seroquel and still could not sleep at night. That was years ago. Now, I am back into the pattern of beng unable to sleep. My Seroquel dosage was just increased for this reason, from 1,000 mgs a day to 1200 mgs. I still cannot sleep. It definitely keeps the psychosis at bay, and I am not having any hallucinations at the moment or delusional thoughts, most of the time. However, I have gained a huge amount of weight on Seroquel, and I am concerned that I am taking a dosage that is higher than that of anybody else I've ever known who was on Seroquel. I've known a lot of people who take this medication, and never have I heard of people taking over 1,000 mgs a day. I am just curious to know if anybody in this forum has heard of someone taking this much. I'm not asking for medical advice, just information. Thanks.
