I found this website while looking for ways to get off of methadone. I have been on it for about 4 years now. I was on 155 mg. at one point, and have brought myself down to 50 mg., which is where I am at currently. I would of course, someday like to be at 0 mg.! That is my goal. I have been struggling with opiate addiction, however, for the last 13 years, off & on... It's tough.

Walking briskly for 30 minutes is probably the easiest way to get that exercise. But your other goal (getting off the methadone) is even more important! I will be praying for you!

Little baby steps . . . one at a time . . . will eventually get you where you want to be. It WILL take some time, but as you long as you keep moving forward, it WILL happen. It's when we sit and do nothing that nothing happens.
Keep on keepin' on!
