Bio

Hi, my name is Lea. I am a runner, health nut, writer, and dog lover. The blog name is sort of tongue-in-cheek. I'm the dummy here, sharing my growth experiences along the way. My blog motivates me personally on so many levels and it inspires me to learn that it motivates others too. I started out by jogging around the neighborhood to lose a few extra pounds, I had no idea it would grow into a lifestyle. Before I knew it, I was running 5K's, 10K's and eventually, half marathons. I got stronger and faster, grew tremendously as an athlete, and as a person. As this dummy grew smarter, I started lifting weights and doing Yoga to round out my fitness journey. I learned a lot through trial and error about how to exercise, how to eat whole natural foods, and how to stay fit. I started getting questions about running, about fitness, about nutrition, and while I am no expert in these subjects, I found I had gained a lot of knowledge through my own experiences and research and found great joy in helping others.
