Working my way up to a mile

I live nearby a high school track that I plan to use often as I work on improving my exercise habits. For years, I've had trouble jogging as I suffer from back pain from a motor vehicle accident injury. However, I feel my conditioning and strength is improving-physical and mental. In saying that, I mean that I think I've realized that I can in fact work up to jogging a mile. I started yesterday, jogging a quarter of each quarter mile that I was on the track, in the end jogging about just over a quarter mile.

I'm going to keep that up until I manage to jog a mile comfortably. It'll sure be a celebration when I do, trust me!

Good going. Be consistent through out the summer and you'll be amazed at the improvements you would've made to your stamina and overall physical/mental well being.

I actually jogged a half mile yesterday! I was happy with myself, and I plan to do it again tomorrow. I took a break today and did strength training and WiiFit instead.
