After my walk/run for three miles, I went to the gym to lift some weights. While I didn’t follow a specific workout plan here’s what I did (in no particular order):
Nothing too fancy and nothing too hard. But when I got home it felt so hard to walk up the stairs. That to me is a sign of a great workout. My clothes were completely drenched and it felt awesome. I will say that I probably should have put on some BodyGlide since my hot shower revealed some pretty chafed places. I love looking in the mirror and not cringing at what I see. Major progress both emotionally and physically. I’m looking forward to hitting up the gym more this week and maybe trying to incorporate longer running portions to get back to where I was.
