i run on my high school track team and im a distance runner, when my coach makes us do spinting it kills my left foot horribly. ive been to numerous doctors and no one knows. but see when we go on long runs, like 4 mile runs, my foot feels great, but the sprinting kills it, and its only one foot?
This is just a guess, but it might be that you have the wrong shoes. There are three basic types of shoes. Have your feet and shoes checked by a good podiatrist. Also, when sprinting, you're going almost as fast as you can, and you might be taking too long of steps. Aim for a stride rate of about 180 steps per minute. This will force you to take smaller but more often steps.
