Treadmill Workout

So I found this treadmill workout in "". And since I have to do quite a bit of my workouts on the treadmill (more convienent with kids and my husbands schecdule) any thing that can break up the monotony of running in place is greatly appreciated. I figured I would post it in case anyone else was interested. So here it is:


Two-In-One-Workout

"This workout combines running and toning excercises in one session."
  • Warm up with 10 minutes of easy running.
  • Stop running and do 5 to 10 pushups.
  • Back on the treadmill and run for 5 mins.
  • Stop and do 10 to 20 abdominal crunches
  • Run for 5 minutes
  • Stop and do 10 to 20 reverse sit-ups
  • Run for 5 minutes
  • Stop and do 10 to 20 reverse trunk twists
  • Run for 5 minutes
  • Stop and do 5 to 10 push-ups.
  • Finish with 10 minutes of easy running

Variations: You can do this workout any way you like, using any combination of excercises, and you can shorten or lengthen the treadmill intervals to your preference.
