Treadmill, Legs, Butt, Abs And A Fracture Growth Plate

Posted Jul 20 2013 9:58am

Friday the rain would not stop!  It has been a very rainy summer and it has been sooo frustrating.  I hate to run on a treadmill, but needed to get an hour of cardio in.

Yesterday I ran 20 minutes on the treadmill (10-minute warm-up/10-minute cool down) and did Obstacle Race Circuit .  I will tell you I was one sweaty mess after that workout!  I know the picture’s blurry, but I can not seem to take self portraits of myself like the rest of the world.  (Maybe one day I will have abs)

With yesterdays workout, I had done 2 full body workouts ( 1-circuit & 1-tabata ), hit my shoulders, bi’s & tri’s , chest, back & abs , and 3.5 hours of cardio for the week.  Today I planned on swimming and working my legs, butt and abs.  Well the weather had different plans.

That’s fine weather, I will not let you get me down.  Looks like it is time to make a new treadmill workout!  Here is what I came up with:

Boredom Buster

After my run I did Rockin’ the 50’s .  Whew my legs about gave out on me!

So we took Cole to the Orthopedic on Thursday and he confirms Cole fractured his growth plate in his ankle.  He is in a cast for 2-4 weeks, Boo this is going to make the next couple weeks painful.

Hopefully we learned our lesson that jumping off the dock in shallow water isn’t such a good idea!
