Tonight I went out and ran 7 miles starting in O'Neill Park. Since the sun sets around 5:30 and I can't start running until 5:00, I only ran the first part of my run in the park. It's not real safe to run in the wilderness areas after sunset! After all, you have two types of predators: kitty-cats and crazy people. Not that either of them are very frequent, but better safe than sorry!
I very much enjoyed my first 30 minutes of the run which were all trail. Here are some more pictures:
The peaks in the distance of this pic are Modjeska and Santiago. Santiago is 5,600 feet in elevation and that is the peak our running group is going up in April!
