This morning my trail group OCTR was planning a fun St. Patrick's Day 14 miler. I can't run yet but didn't want to miss out on the fun. I'm currently without a car so Charlie picked me up (he only lives a mile away) and we went to the trail head. At the last minute we had a special guest who wanted to join our group run - Andrew Hersam, who happens to be the publisher of Runner's World, and is a friend of Charlie's. My plan was to meet Andy and say hi to all the OCTR runners, get in a few pictures, then go home and come back after the run.

After a few pictures they were of on their run and I went back home for a while. It was a pretty adventurous run for a group of the runners that ran 21.5 miles instead of the planned 14. They wanted some longer miles and had planned to run a full loop but needed to be picked up at mile 21.5 by yours truly. They had a fun time though they all bonked at one point, ran out of water and ran out of food. I'll leave the full recap to Charlie who was part of that group and I'm sure will have some good stuff to share!
Here are some post run pictures. Me and Wendy and Me with Nattie.
