The right running speed to lose fat.

Many times, we run or walk but it is not at the right speed to burn fat. Here is an effective way to calculate if you are running at the right speed.

Experts say that our body burns fat if we work at about 70 percent of our maximum heart rate. How do you calculate the maximum heart rate? Simple. Just take your age and subtract it from 220. Now, multiply this figure by 0.7. This is the rate at which you should be running to burn fat.

Now, all you have to do is to buy a heart monitor that shows you the heart rate on a wrist display. While running, maintain the right speed and you can be sure that you will burn fat during that jog. Just a word of caution though. Do this only if you have been running for some time. Otherwise, this might lead to injury.
