It's our way to bring together the knowledge of all of us ordinary runners. It's the virtual equivalent toputting our virtual heads together. Even though many of us aren't elite athletes, coaches or authors, it doesn't mean that we haven't earned a well deserved PhD in running. Whether you are starting out, have 50 years of running under your belt or somewhere in between -all of us have lessons learned that make us wiser and better runners.

Next weeks theme is -OverTraining! Just Say No! It is the early season for the first glimpse of overtraining. Many runners are settling into running plans for late summer or fall races and for some the first clues to overtraining are starting to surface. I can remember a year ago reading through blogs in mid July and beginning to hear the cues of "I am really tired all the time.", "I don't feel like running at all." "My runs aren't going well." "I am sore more often." "My legs just don't have the energy they had before." And so much more. Share your tips for preventing overtraining and future injury. Talk about the cues and signs.
