T-5 Days (Father's day 20 mile bike ride)

Happy Fathers day. I was woken to breakfast in bed made by my kids. Which was very nice. they also made a card and they wrote what they liked most. Trev's was the best. Thanks for spending time with me. I was also given some new running socks and some new clothes. I'm still not feeling a 100%, but I wanted to get out so I decided I would go for a bike ride. It was a gorgeous day so I decided to go for a long ride. I first thought 20, but decided not to push it and just go for 30. There was lot of people out on the trail. I went farther than I ever went. I ended up by lake Minnetonka and road around part of that. Its near the 10K I run on the 4th of July. I stopped and took a quick picture of myself by the lake to remember it by. It was a nice ride and I'm really starting to enjoy the bike more. I'm a little nervous about training this week, but it should be an easy taper for the big race Saturday. At this point I think I did all the training I can. Now I just need to be healthy get some sleep and hope for good weather. Good vibes appreciated.
