I have been running for awhile, but usually only at most 3-4 miles. Ive wanted to run a half marathon or marathon for a long time, so I made my goal this summer to begin training to be able to run the Govenors Cup in October. So far sticking to a training plan has been a little difficult with my daiy schedule of work and school getting in the way, but this week has been good. Ive also decided to start keeping a food journal to make sure im making good eating choices. What I want to achieve from this experience is finally taking off the rest of the weight gained from freshman year and being in good health. I plan to strength train and increase my flexibility to become toned and in shape.
