So Kayla, Matt and I took a "wrong" turn early into our El Moro run last night. I had heard about this "wrong" turn before but it's never one I had taken until last night... Shortly into the run (.5 mile?) we turned on a trail that is fairly well hidden and unmarked. In sections we could see other runners and mountain bikers had been through here but it was obvious that was not a frequent occurrence. This trail was HIGHLY technical. AKA - it was fun! Kayla had a bit of a challenge on the technical downhills (arguably the most technical single track I've seen in El Moro) as she is not used to them. The trail was pretty overgrown in spots and littered with flowers of yellow, purple and orange. It was quite the beautiful, challenging and secluded little piece of trail!
