Running Withdrawal

It rained today...again. And it is going to rain tomorrow and probably Sunday. Due to the weather and much convincing from my dad, I decided to give my legs a break and not go for a run today. This morning my mom and I went to yoga, then spent the rest of the day relaxing by shopping and doing lunch. When 4:30 rolled around, my Dad and I decided to skip our usual afternoon run and rest up for our long run this weekend. I know my legs needed the break. And I know the weather was crappy, but my day is just better when I get to run. I can't explain it. Other forms of exercise do not suffice. As much as I love yoga and pilates I just do not get the same addictive effect and withdrawal when I miss them that I get from running. Tomorrow it is going to rain, but I will not miss another run.
