Running with the Dogs

Posted Sep 12 2008 3:53am
Run Summary
Distance: 9 Miles
Avg Pace/Mile: 7:22

Jordan and I just adopted a 1.5 year old Tibetan Terrier. We have been walking him between 3 and 5 miles per day and today I decided to take him out for a run. I ran with him for about 3 miles and at a pace around 9-10 minutes per mile. It was a little hard on my knees to take it that slow, but he had a great time running through the woods.

After running with the dog I put anothe 6 miles down at a pretty quick pace. Probably should have backed off the pace a little bit, but the weather was great and my legs felt strong so I kept it around 7 min/mile or so.
